I would like to install RTnet on a laptop. Could you please give me some suggestions on what type of laptop networking cards (or what type of laptop brands) are supported by RTnet. I have searched on the archive of rtnet-users mailing list for information related to this subject and I found out (please complain if I am not right): - currently there is no support for PCMCIA within RTnet. There is a student of Petr Grillinger that tries to make RTnet support PCMCIA by the beginning of next year. From this, I should understand that the only hope to try to make the current RTnet work with laptops is to use a laptop that has a net card integrated in the system (part of the motherboard). - A few people mentioned that they were able to install and work with RTnet with laptops. They mentioned of the following laptops: PIII/600MHz with rt_3c59x and IBM thinkpad R32 1.8G. Eagerly waiting for an answer. Thanks!
