Hi,
I just installed a kernel 2.6.14.3 with the latest
rtai from the cvs. I got rtnet from the cvs too.
When I try the make menuconfig with selecting rtai I
have the following error:

checking for RTnet Kconfig file... .rtnet_config
(supplied)
checking for RT-extension... /usr/realtime (RTAI)
checking for RTAI version... magma
checking for RTAI config file...
/usr/realtime/share/rtai/config-rtai-magma
checking for Linux source tree... /usr/src/linux
(kernel 2.6.14)
checking for RTDM skin... configure: error: *** Please
enable RTDM skin
make: *** [config.status] Error 1

I can't find any thing in the menu about that and it
happens even when I select everything. So any solution?

Try the latest vulcano (aka rtai-3.3). The making of RTDM should be configurable, along with its own serial support. Notice that we have decided to change the layout of the tree structure with respect to magma. Report any remaining problem to me/Pierangelo.

If you want to have it tested too dowmload showroom and execute tests (run and frun) found in v3.x/user/rtdm and v3.x/kern/i386/hearbeat (run). If any of them does not compile report it too, it will be fixed in a while.

Paolo.
