Oh, hell, that thing has 100 MIPS, but it's the CRIS arch. This changes 
the situation I sketched only in so far that those two references I 
mentioned are of no help anymore. I recall some thread around CRIS and 
Xenomai [1], but there was no further public activity. Well, and the 
RTAI page above contains only outdated code, so you will have to "hack" 
along any path you choose.

Found it: drivers/net/cris/eth_v10.c

Looks clean and portable on first sight. So your challenge will be the 
real-time port, not RTnet.
