Hi folks, I striving on getting RTNET working on my machine running a
Xenomai-2.4.8 patched kernel 2.6.29.4. The installation process passed
normally, but I got difficulties to get my ethernet interface up. I followed
the README instructions properly.
I'm posting my lspci -v returned message showing the ethernet available on
my system.
05:08.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation PRO/100 VE Network Connection
(rev 02)
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Unknown device 30bb
Flags: bus master, medium devsel, latency 64, IRQ 21
Memory at d8000000 (32-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=4K]
I/O ports at 4000 [size=64]
Capabilities: [dc] Power Management version 2
Is that ethernet NIC supported by RTNet? When I execute rtifconfig rteth0 up
an ioctl: no such device is returned and I can't run the tests available.
I can bring rtlo up without any problem.
At the configuration steps (make menuconfig) I set rt_eepro100 driver.
Is this driver corrected chosen for my NIC?
Thanks for all,
