There is no prerequisite to know MySQL, before learning this course.
If you do the labs entirely yourself, the installation of MySQL is
explained in the lab. At least for PC machines.
If you are on another machine, tell it here, and there will be surely
someone who can direct you to a link where the installation is
explained for your system.
If you have successfully installed MySQL and verified it works outside
of Netbeans, tell it here also, that would restrict the domain of
helping.
You may also browse the MySQL documentation online to adquire the
minimum of knowledge.
