First, Roger, if you don't mind do not change the subject of posting
when your request has nothing to do with the original post, create a
new post instead.
By not doing it, you are kind of messing the search on a particular
subject.

As for your question, the zip file requires at least version 1.0 to
extract it. See the gzip.org home page, maybe you will find a way to
uncompress it.
Without your operation system, it is somewhat difficult to help you.
