If a gem specifies "blah", how can rubygems know that there was no docs generated and therefore it should fallback? Because there is no coupling, it doesn't seem like there is a way to detect. Were you just thinking it would check a directory (and thus all doc tools are expected to put their generated docs in a certain directory) > _______________________________________________ > Rubygems-developers mailing list > http://rubyforge.org/projects/rubygems > Rubygems-developers@rubyforge.org (mailto:Rubygems-developers@rubyforge.org) > http://rubyforge.org/mailman/listinfo/rubygems-developers _______________________________________________ Rubygems-developers mailing list http://rubyforge.org/projects/rubygems Rubygems-developers@rubyforge.org http://rubyforge.org/mailman/listinfo/rubygems-developers
