Although the 32-bit kernel is run on a MacBook, that doesn't mean everything is 32-bit. You want to install the 64-bit mysql (I installed from mysql.com), and reinstall the mysql gem for 64bit architecture. That's what's working for me on a 2.16 Mhz late 2007 MacBook. -- Rick DeNatale Blog: http://talklikeaduck.denhaven2.com/ Twitter: http://twitter.com/RickDeNatale WWR: http://www.workingwithrails.com/person/9021-rick-denatale LinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/rickdenatale --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group.
