How much does ActiveSupport have to do with I18N anyway? (OK, I'll admit it: I hate Rails' I18N, and I think it was a mistake. I use FastGettext for I18N, and I don't like how it can't be used for AR errors easily. The I18N-agnostic 2.2 was easier to deal with. It will be interesting to see how 3 handles this.)
