Been a Ruby/Rails developer for about 2 years now. I've had some experience developing Java apps a few years back. Mostly command line tools to support scheduled tasks...etc. Nothing major.
I've been somewhat curious about JRuby. Anyone using this platform? Other than being able to talk to Java via Ruby and vice versa, is there any performance gains?
