I've been in need to disable mass-check because it used ALL of the

This VM is our spamgate, and has 4.5GB RAM. It used to have 3GB until
recently, then I activated mass-check and it swapped 4GB from RAM to
disk. So I increased to 4.5GB RAM, and still mass-check swaps out over
3.1GB to disk. That's just way too much RAM usage. I'm not happy to
assign a VM 3GB or more additional RAM just for mass-check, but I did
not find a switch to limit RAM usage.

We've been running mass-checks for a very long time, but it never used
so much RAM than it does now. Any chance to reduce that again?
My immediate thought is to lower the numbers of jobs for the masscheck but I am overall unaware of the memory impact for masscheck.

Anyone have some feedback on the memory footprint for their masscheck?
