for access from the outside world.
That bit is important too, but the network stack of course needs to know
how it is configured. There's currently no easy way to check the
network configuration ... at least unless you have a working network
configuration -- let's call that a feature. However, writing a program
which connects out to any random place instead of listening for
connections will quickly determine if the lack of rumprun network stack
configuration is indeed the problem.
