Ok, I can run Andrew's hw.py on rumprun.
There's a bunch of stuff that needs to go here and there. I'll starting
polishing and pushing them, and will send another mail once I have full
instructions up in rumprun-packages-wip.
Awesome. The more I can learn about how you and Martin and Justin manage to
make applications run as rump kernels, the better position I’ll be in to do it
without hassling the list for help. I’d like to get to the point of being
sufficiently confident to describe the process in detaiul but at the moment I’m
still pushing back the fog of learning.
Well, we'd like to get the process to a level where you don't need to
understand it beyond "crosscompile application x". Not sure if that's
good or bad news for you :/
(that said, always good to have more people who understand what's going
on behind the scenes)
Anyway, still polishing, but should be done tonight. (need to fix some
generic stuff in buildrump.sh, and thinking about how to not screw of
all its users because of the single rumprun use case is taking time)
