As the wise men saying are always true, I invested some time after
working Erlang integration with openssl within Rumprun to see whether
it builds with libressl. At least the code builds, although I've have
to run some tests tonight to complete the story. Having said that the
latest Erlang release requires additional crypto, but since we are not
going for an upgrade (since its still running in release candidates)
so not too worried about it.
Well, at least now there is an alternative in rumprun-packages, (that
is openssl) for anyone going that path.
