second edition of the blue book is now available

Hi,

I'm happy to announce that the second edition of "The Design and 
Implementation of the Anykernel and Rump Kernels" is finally finished 
and available as a free pdf download from http://book.rumpkernel.org/

Most of the discussion on the anykernel and rump kernels (Chapters 2+3) 
is unchanged from the first edition.  I find that especially delightful, 
since it means that I managed to implement something right 5+ years ago, 
and the predictions of what would be possible with rump kernels weren't 
just idle words.  The rest of the Chapters are new for this second edition.

I want to extend a HUGE thanks to all who donated towards the second 
edition.  Writing a book is not always very much fun, and knowing that 
people and corporations volunteered money was an incredible motivational 
boost.  If you enjoy reading the finished book, you might as well thank 
the following people and corporations for its existence: Ionut 
Hristodorescu / NettoLogic, Danny Fullerton, "K.D.", Mehdi Ahmadi and 
Neeraj Sharma.

p.s. the epub version is not yet available, but should be at a future 
date.  I simply ran out of time to fix it to compile and render properly 
for this initial release.

p.p.s. on a personal note, finishing the book marks the start of my 
quite-long-overdue vacation.  I will be less reachable in the coming 
month(s).
