I disagree. Python's tutorial is for me good enough for for C/Unix programmers. However, most programming language tutorials are worse ;-). Some tutorial docs around Lua are interesting, imo. D's documentation is rather good (imo gain), I could do with it despite not beeing a c++ coder.
Hackers usually are very bad on the pedagogical side, i guess (I include myself, despite beeing trained as a technical trainer). We just cannot put ourselves in others' position, can only exchange with people already sharing our views. For whatever reason (?).
