I was just thinking that some random post on a mailing list could easily get 
lost in time like tears in rain, but a github enhancement request is bound to 
get noticed at some point. Thus if the suggestion is not total nonsense, it 
warrants an enhancement request. I just don't want to be spamming the github 
issue list.
