Hi,

I'm running rxvt-unicode as a terminal in the background of my desktop. I have full transparency (alpha=0000) and xft fonts. It looks great, but I have a problem: when highlighted (reverse video) characters are displayed, it shows them with the same foreground and background, making them unreadable. See screenshots at http://www.math.duke.edu/~rann/snapshot1.png and http://www.math.duke.edu/~rann/snapshot2.png

If I use non-xft fonts or change transparency to something else (eg alpha=cccc), it all works fine, but that's not what I want to do.

any idea what switches/resources I have to set to make this work properly?

Thanks!

Rann
