Hello all, I've been using RXVT for a dirty hack which involves using ncurses to do pixel drawing, which relies on ncurses reporting on mouse movements and drawing when clicks are pressed etc.
I've found that out of all the terminals I downloaded (xterm, Eterm, terminology, gnome-terminal etc) urxvt is the fastest responding one. Even then, sometimes I still get situations where I move my mouse and the cursor (i.e mouse movement events on ncurses) only follows a few seconds afterwards. Is there a hard limit set somewhere? Is there a way to make this work better? I've also found after restarting my computer things work better, and things are certainly much worse when I have 30+ urxvt windows open (which is a pretty common situation). Would love any pointers about this. Thanks in advance!
