I meant to reply to this yesterday, but it's been one of those weeks. As
far as I understand, GNU ls does not use termcap entries for color. This
was told to me on the vim list when I was having some issues with it on
solaris.
You can try setting it to vt220 or xterm-color?
.. argh.. I can't get on my FBSD box from here, and OBSD doesn't support
-G. I will take a loot at compiling rxvt w/color support tonight and drop
you a line when I get it working.
Does color ls work in xterm-color? On the console?
