Hi Jens, The OE recipe is compiling the C files provided in the tarball, not the Vala ones ; thus, in my understanding, it doesn't need VAPIs for dependencies, and in fact dependencies such as "gupnp" are specifically compiled with "--without-introspection" (I may be wrong on this matter, though). "For the GUPnP stack I was considering to actually ship the VAPI files." I think this would definitely make sense if progress on gobject-introspection doesn't happen ; Jussi mentions the contrary, which I am glad to hear.
