|This is the first message I compose in s-nail. Congratulations! |I am shocked that there is only a line editor! Yes, that is how it is! |What if I make a typo and want to go back to the prevouis line? No chance, never. Type `~e' and start $EDITOR, or set *editalong* and start the $EDITOR upon entering compose mode right away. Or do the former quick with a key binding, for example i have (i have *editalong* too, but nonetheless): bind compose :kf1 !e Then pressing F1 starts the editor (my *escape* is not tilde ~ but exclamation mark). For now i have not planned to support ed(1) style line selection, in case you refer to this. But interesting, maybe, for after the MIME and I/O layer rewrite of v15. To make the message body (and part bodies) accessible as objects, and furthermore each line therein as such, too, just like a HTML DOM structure. But that is distant future. Sorry. |I hope it'll be sent. |All the best! All back to you. --steffen | |Der Kragenbaer, The moon bear, |der holt sich munter he cheerfully and one by one |einen nach dem anderen runter wa.ks himself off |(By Robert Gernhardt)
