Also, while not actually serving on the AA, the DT&I did run from Diann to Toledo to access DT&I's Temperance Yard. I beleive this ran from the mid-60's when DT&I disconnected the Temperance Yard from the mainline and choose to run down the AA to access the yard until at least the early 80's when GTW merger with the DT&I, although I'm no sure on that. This actually leads me into a question or two about Temperance Yard. When did DT&I (or GTW) actually close this yard (sell it to someone else)? How was it accessed from the AA. I assume they came across the TT to get there. What industries were served by this yard. I assume the 2 big plants the AA continued to serve were customer, but were there any more? I know some of this is off AA topic, but it does related to the AA also as this is now trackage used by the AA.
