Another beautiful day here in the frozen tundra, the leaves are starting to turn.
This week, the PPSSW met here for a short time then many left for an emergency
consultation at Steve Doyle's. That is one of the really neat things about this
group, everyone is willing to share skills and it makes all the railroads better. I
did get a chance to show off the structures I have been building. The two primary
projects are the Williams Warehouse by Trainstuff and the Back Alley 2 by Pine Canyon.
Ted talked of cutting down a Trainstuff wall, Ted, I think there are many better ways
to get variety in two stories. Pine Canyon is the first idea then DPM structure
components. There are even some nice Walther's kits that work out really well. I
modified one of the walls in my Trainstuff building which was easy so I guess if that
is how you want to go, it will work. Of course just after I finished modifying my
wall, Trainstuff introduced a version of the wall that had the same features. We are
luck to have such neat brick buildings.

Big trip this week so I am out of town and will get no railroading done. Oh Well,
perhaps next week.

Best Wishes

Ken Z.
