"Bill Fraley" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> How many nice layouts have you visited and seen the trains zipping around at 100 MPH?
Hey Bill.....Keep in mind that the late great NYC once bolted jet engines from an airplane to the roof of a Budd RDC for a speed test. It ran well over 100 mph and set some speed records at the time. So just get those kids the proper model and kitbash the RDC with a B-52 (or whatever) and have some real fun! Not only that, but Casey Jones (famous NYC engineer) ran about 99 mph with a steam loco and a short passenger train -- or something like that -- I think. Besides, the NYC won't come after you with a bunch of lawyers demanding royalty payments for models using their roadname. What more could you ask for? Cheers...Ed L.
