Be careful.  If I were you, I would do such an article in consultation with Ted 
Larson and/or Bob Sherwood.  Ted is the NASG S-MOD
guru, and Bob is the NASG Standards chair.  If you do the article without 
regard to the well-thought-out S-MOD standards, you will
make a lot of people unhappy.  I think you should plumb Ted's feeling that the 
two can be consistent with each other if presented
properly.  At the very least, you need to compare the two and cite the points 
on which they agree and disagree.
