Jeff et al -- Try dry transfers. C-D-S lists two D&H sets: #63 (40' steel boxcar, series 18100-19899, 1956 through 1970s), and #62 (40' steel boxcar, series 22000-22249, 1964-1980s). C-D-S also lists 64 (yes, sixty-four!) dry-transfer sets for CN locos, passenger and freight cars, and cabooses in all eras. C-D S lists 6 GTW sets, covering steam locos, three boxcars, and two cabooses. (There also 8 GT sets.)
Clover House lists dry transfer set #8370-1 for WP brown boxcar with yellow lettering, c. 1950s. Also try Tom Lennon, doing business as "Milepoist 169," who has a ton of old but quite usable Enhorning decals for sale. His website (http://s-scaletrains.com/milepost169/) lists 21 CNR sets, 10 D&H sets, 11 C&O sets (including EMD E and F sets, from which a BL-2 might be pieced together), 15 GTW sets, and 11 WP sets.
