Hi All,
Well once again I've offended Bill and I'm not sure why. Maybe he
took my comments to be demeaning of the LVM kit. I was talking about
the real car. I know we talk about rib sided hoppers, but I wasn't
sure if you could say, "Rib sided boxcar..." Frank is a friend of
mine, and I was certainly not implying that his kit was lacking. I
thought the wire was an excellent choice until last summer when I took
a closer look at a real boxcar. Even then it didn't hit me that there
was a way to improve the kit until I found out about the triangle
shaped styrene. And Bill, isn't that what we're trying to do, build
better models?
