I too use the cast dimples as locators. I use Huff N Puff grabs, and they have different spacing than the cast on dimples. I use the outside dimple to drill the first hole for each grab, then use the second end of the grab to mark the location of the second hole. I also highly recommend a lighted magnifier for this work. I didn't have one for many years, but once I got one it REALLY makes a difference in aligning these parts. Sincerely, Mike Sulzbach
