In modeldom, Ed Schumacher had a Chester 'shorty' Parlor car named "Dorothy" (after his wife) and painted an AF Pullman car in the 60's for Don Riley, (which I have), for Evelyn (his wife), and an AF Observation for Don, (which I also have as part of a train lettered for "Boston & Worcestor). John Young (an 0 Gauger) has a locomotive named for his wife and Win Blake named a station "Ruthvelt" after his first wife (Ruth). I could go on but the naming of cars, stations, and the like is not a recent development. Beef stew will be fine... R.
