Hi All,

I have been reading the latest chatter about needing the B&O M53 boxcar and
N34 hopper. I have 2 of each in brass and they are finished. Here is the
M53: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/billlane/My_Models_3.jpg The M53 is
probably my favorite boxcar after the X29. I have studied it in person.
There was one about 1 hour from here at the Black River and Western in
Delaware.

I have 3 kits total of 2 different Kaslo cars. I have been very pleasantly
surprised at their quality when I opened the box. But admittedly I mostly
bought them to support the projects. They are not very high on my "to be
finished" list. I could possibly buy a M53 if I was the last person needed
to make the project fly.

SOMEONE has to step up and be the point person. I would supply my M53 photo
collection if needed. As Jeff English pointed out, it is a unique car, but
needs to be done correctly. There are a few detail omissions on the Overland
cars that could be correctly done on a new run. In some ways the Kaslo N5c
is BETTER then the earlier Overland brass model.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
