All, I received this post form Norman Maunz (CCSG, NASG). It gives us a bit of an update about our friends from New Orleans.
***Tom, I saw your message on the list just today. I have another e-mail address now in addition to the webtv address so I can access e-mail from anywhere on a computer. I'm still on the learning curve and not sure how to reply to the list, so you can relay this info for me to the list if you want so all will know I'm OK. I am in St. Louis, MO with my family and dogs staying with my cousin. I e-mailed all of our CCSG members on Friday. I heard only from Mickey living in Baton Rouge and he is doing fine. E-mail to Jay was undeliverable. I'm glad to hear Allen and Mike are OK, but I am surprised I haven't gotten a response from them. According to reports and satellite pictures it looks like all of our homes in Metairie are undamaged and not flooded. That is such a relief, but we still can't be absolutely sure everything is fine until we can actually get back there to see for ourselves. I put all of my train stuff up off the floor before I left so I'm confident the turntable module and staging yard are OK. Thanks for the communication. Let me know what your e-mail address is. It is hidden on the S- Trains list because I signed on with a different ID and I can't get to the members link. This hurricane came upon us so quickly (couldn't tell until Saturday that it was turning toward N.O.) we had hardly a day to tie things down and get out of town.
