For smoothside cars, Laser Horizons offers plastic overlay sides that
can be glued onto American Models' passenger cars. These come in a
wide variety of window patterns and Dennis will custom cut anything
you want if you are able to provide dimensions. For Budd cars, I'd
suggest ordering some from Kaslo Shops Distributing. It appears they
are making the car types in which you expressed an interest. This S
project has the tooling in progress and will offer complete kits when
completed. No need to scratchbuild or kit bash if you like these
alternatives. By the way, when will the SHS E-7s be available?
Plenty of time to build the Kaslo kits, I would presume. Have
fun...Ed L.
