OK! OK!
The way I see's it!

I've subscribed to the S gaugian since the beginning. I have the entire
collection, save, possibly a few.

I subscribed to the S Gauge Herald and have the entire collection. Even have
some of Rollies!

At one time I had the complete collections of Model Railroaders and Railroad
Model Craftsman dating back to the early 1940's. I sold a dozen boxes of those
magazines for practically nothing about 10 years ago. I always used them for
research, but simply got away from that part of it as I became very comfortable
with my computer and the Yahoo/Google way of doing things.

I still have a variety of magazines laying around that have projects in it that
I'd like to do some day, if only I could break away from my computer.

Because of my association with NASG, I have all of the Dispatch's and so forth
ever produced.

I go to my local Giant Super market rather often, I always check their magazine
racks for Model railroader, There I can buy them a very nice discount.

Recently, I've bought Feb. April. June. July. August. September. October.
November and December's 2005 Model Railroader because the magazine had
something of interest to me and what I needed to know.

I find Model Railroader's pages very hard to read as they are very shiny and
slippery. They give off a glare, perhaps it just my old age that is causing
this phenomenon, but really do we really need the fancy paper? Most of the
layouts are top notch, which means they are nice to look at, but what 90% of us
model railroaders aren't, is top notch! Top Notch maybe in our, and our friends
minds, but not good 'nuff for the sophisticated "Model Railroader" magazine.

All that being said, like Dick Karnes, I do read over my model railroad
magazines several times, gleaning important stuff out of them that perhaps I
can apply to my model railroad.

I believe that model railroading suffers now-a-days because we are all to darn
busy doing other things. No more having the winter to model railroad like the
old days, just too much "Honey do this - Honey do that!"

Man how I would just like to get away from my computer right now and go run
the trains.
Know what?
I think I'll just do that!
Right Now!

"Honey, Sweetheart, do I have time to run the trains before your doctors
appointment this afternoon?"

"S"ee ya,
 Billy Fraley
