Hi,
Tamiya model paints makes a "Clear yellow" in acrylic that I've
heard does a good job of eliminating those annoying blue headlights. I
guess, never having tried it yet, that a coat or two, brush painted
right on the face of the LED's would work, Should be no need to
disassemble the units. Tamiya paints are sold at hobby shops selling
military models, again, haven't done a search but should be able to find
them on line.
