Just for the record, CNR had 80' heavyweight combines with vestibules at both
ends. They were rebuilds from Pullman colonist cars done in the late 1940's
to mid 1950's. One was pulled between Owen Sound and Wiarton by non-other
than SSL&S CNR E-10-a Mogul number 86 as well as 81 and a few H-6 class
locos.
Sorry about the plug, but MLW Services will be producing a limited run of
this car in the form of a brass kit with wooden roof. The artwork is almost
done.
