River Raisin Models proudly announces our next S Scale project. We are now taking reservations for Baldwin RF-16 "Shark Nose" cab and booster unit freight diesels. These models will come DCC ready with correct "as-built" details for their three owners: Baltimore & Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York Central. Additionally, the models will be offered painted and lettered with appropriate prototype road numbers in the following paint schemes: PRR Brunswick Green 5-Stripe, NYC Freight Lightning Stripes and B&O Blue and Gray. The models will be hand crafted in Korea by Boo-Rim Precision, manufacturer of some of the finest running and exceptionally detailed brass models in the world.
River Raisin Models was formed in 1987 by Dan Navarre and Jim Kindraka to bring to the market high quality, uncompromisingly detailed S Scale brass model railroad equipment. Since our first model, delivered in January 1988, River Raisin Models has completed 28 major S Scale projects and delivered 61 physically different 3/16ths Scale Models to the growing S market.
