Hi Gary; You can use the O scale "Sprung" version of the Caboose industries throw, and/or connect the throw to the turnout with a piece of spring wire with either a "z" or "omega" bend (an open loop in the wire, shaped like the greek letter) rather than direct connection to prevent damage from the over-throw.
