Here is a discussion of "S" couplers that was added to the SHS website last
year I think.

For more than you may want to know about prototype couplers and their
representations in various modeling scales, see

Subject: {S-Scale List} S Scale Coupler

"The Kadee HO and Kadee S couplers are different. The HO version is a
little undersize for S scale, and the S scale version is a little
oversize. The longer wire on the converted HO coupler brings it down
to 1/16-inch above the railhead, identical to the S scale version."

Hi,
I'm confused.
Does S Scale really have its own coupler?
The Kadee 802 is not S scale, but we use it anyway, as it is close.
