Subject: {S-Scale List} s scale ballast

Hi,

My one persistent frustration since moving up to S scale has been
ballast. I used HighBall almost exclusively when in HO (never have
liked Woodland Scenics) but I've had trouble getting them lately.
Also, I was greatly disappointed with the quality control of last
batch I did receive. The real issue is that I've not been happy with
the way it looks (what should be the right size looks too fine).
Perhaps my eye is not yet adjusted to S scale trackwork. I've
realized that i've not made any progress on my layout because I need
to ballast the track that is down before i move on. So... What are
people using that are happy with? I've come up empty from S scale
product sources website and google search. If it matters I am
currently looking for ballast for the PRR mainline in central PA.

Regards,
kbt
