There are two cranes. The 165 looks like tinplate. The 282R looks more like
the real thing. It is the 282R that I measured.

Bill, it all depends upon your tolerance for something that has such a
tinplate look. I know that it is a terrific attraction for visitors to an S
layout. Since I am a hi-scaler, it fits perfectly with my effort: scale-like
trains with a combination of operating accessories for the fun of it (and to
amuse the grands) and enough scenery details, kit and scratch-built stuff to
keep me intrigued for more time than I have to play with it.
