It has come to my attention that the Great American Train Show (GATS)
or their other name Great Western and Alantic Train Show has gone out
of business. Has anyone else heard this rumor? I see that their web-
site is no longer active.
Unfortunitly this was the only traveling show in this part of the
country, Northwest, where we could set up and show S scale and still
make a small amount of money for our trouble. There are some other
club shows but these don't usually pay anything and/or are one day
shows where set up and take down are a problem. With the price of gas
that it is a little stipend is needed to help defray some of the
cost.
Anyway I was wondering if anyone has some other information.
