Hi Tom, I built a couple a few years ago, since I've built a lot of
old athearn O scale kits the metal construction seemed quite familiar.
I like the metal sides and roofs even though they are not as finely
detailed as more modern plastic kits, just being metal makes them feel
more like a real boxcar to me. They certainly build into a sturdy
little boxcar, I imagine one could play soccer with one of them with
