If I missed it earlier in the conversation thread, I apologize, but has
anyone mentioned that Banta Models makes a laser cut bridge deck tie
kit? It even has laser notched beams to hold the tie ends. Add some
nut & bolt castings and rail and you have an instant bridge deck
w/rails. I think the kit is in 6" sections and covers up to a 175'
bridge deck. My experience is that once the ties, end beams and rails
are assembled and spiked down, it handles like a single piece of
straight track.
Again if this was mentioned earlier, I missed it - sorry. If not, it
is discouraging for S manufacturers that 700+ people on this group
don't appear to know of a product that has existed since 2000.
