Glad to hear you've reconsidered about quitting.
I work in a field where "burn-out" is common.
My favorite quote is from the Dirty Harry film series: 
"A man has got to know his limitations."
I don't take this as a negative.
Simply that we should try to work within & accept them.
Step back and re-calibrate your involment in the Scale / hobby.

Besides there are more of us who appreciate your efforts, than 
don't.  Sort of the silent majority.
