Hi Butch, Evergreen styrene strips work great, they are more scale
thickness than wood and less likely to split. You can sand them a bit
to look like wood grain. Be sure and stagger the joints in the three
planks. Pick a size of plank that looks like your prototype and
install it in about 20 foot or shorter sections with the joints at
least one support apart..dave
