In a similar vein....
I have purchchased a few Flyer Frontiersman passenger cars with the
intention of "scaling" them into some pre-1885 cars. This will
involve some selective cutting and re-fitting, along with (hopefully)
new windows and doors. I am also hoping to open up the clerestory
roofs. I am hoping to slice off the sides of the existing clerestory
enough to open into the inside, then frame up new clerestory windows,
and apply a roof-over.
Has anyone attempted a similar conversion?
