Don [Heimberger] has a lot of "S"tuff in his files, our photos show up
everywhere in his publications.

I must admit I too, was really surprised to see Frank's picture on the front
cover of the gaugian this month. It is an old timer!

I did promise Don an article on Frank, but just haven't got around to it as of
this time.

As many of you know, Frank is our Leader - Meister, but age is catching up with
him and he is not as active as he once was in our gauge.

Matter of fact, this is Monday night, and Bert Mahr and Barry Mertz are picking
up and setting out trains on the Spiral Hill at this very moment. Every Monday
evening they go to Frank's, Frank has all the orders ready, Barry and Bert
decide which division each wants to operate and they go to "WORK."

I witnessed [interviewed and photographed] one of these sessions, and it is
very business like. While the two are running trains, all three have
conversation. When the operations are over, they say good night, put on their
coats and go home, just like they would if they were at work.

Really, it was very interesting and a treat, because there are very few model
railroads like Frank Titman's, Spiral Hill!

If you haven't purchased the three car set of Spiral Hill Hoppers, I believe
there still are some available.

We were supposed to have a "Spiral Hill" flyer in the NASG Dispatch, but it
wasn't in my [January] issue.

Yes, we old guys are going down the trail and perhaps that darn train is
running faster than we want it to!
"Stop the World and let me off!"
I'm tired of goin' 'round n' 'round
I played the game of love and lost
So, stop the world and let me off.

My dreams are shattered don't you see
Now you no longer care for me
I miss the wonder of your kiss
How could you leave me here like this?

(Chorus)
Stop the world and let me off
I'm tired of goin' 'round n' 'round
I played the game of love and lost
So, stop the world and let me off.

Heh! Heh!

"S"ee ya,
Bill Fraleyl
