A few weeks back, someone asked about calculating the size resistor to use with LED lighting. Following is a good website for determining the resistor value. Same calculator can be used for incandescent lights. You need know the voltage and current ratings of the lights, supply voltage, and the number of lights in a series string. Try in out!
