Pieter,  Of course your right about a model A being the same size as a 
Peterbuilt, but it's almost a 2:1 ratio in width.  I do know that modern 
(60's and up) trucks can be very large, so comparing the new to the old 
probably has little meaning.  My father-in-law, who was a farmer, 
replaced his old 50's International pickup with one in 71 and there was 
quite a difference in height, but not much in width.  I used the PBL 
dump truck to make the door opening for the dump/scale area in a grain 
elevator I was building (before the Hartoys, Erthl's grain truck, and 
the Railmaster stuff)  at the time.  It's was more than a little tight!
